Director Rajesh Ganguly's The Royal Bengal Tiger is a film is an normal film about an uppermost normal man and his dally life. Though it is this man's role reverie to becoming extraordinary that becomes the main things of the film. The natural man, the normal citizen lives a most normal life. His dally life  remains natural and muncie but stable. The life that looks too normal yet normal from the slight.

Abhirup (Abir Chatterjee) is this regular man, who has an regular family. A beautiful  wife, a small life, a son and of course an everyday regular life. What he lacks is of course the incomplete. Too much of faultless makes him weak and pressure him to live a life better. He lives with suffering within, as his normal life does not allow him to loud his voice. He renounce to problems and sacrifices anger to adjust with the natural of life. But he is startle from within and he fears shakiness that might crop as effect of his anger. This regular man is expose, mislead and is forced to see inhumanity. But all that he does is drive himself within a shell of unpretending and gracious.

Though once this polite side breaks, a huge storm expect. A large conversion happens. When Abhirup meets his boyhood friend Anjan (Jeet) all around break. Anjan comes as a protector, who instruct a change in Abir. He pulls that uncommon man and makes him face the world. Prepares him to see the terror directly in the eye and defeat the same.

The actor who justify all blondie points for Rajesh Ganguly's The Royal Bengal Tiger is of course Abir as Abhirup. His similarity is remarkable and his regularity shines beyond expectations and outness the rest. A better storyline and a tricky narration could have made the film a better watch. But it is Jeet and Abir who steals the show, much beyond the narrative. The other actors are normal and helps in build the story ordinary everyday quite well, though  the film is not complete to an extent and needed a little bit of perfection for the more bright and cultivated audience. The twists and turns are ordinary and predictable too.

The Royal Bengal Tiger is a take on the normal everyday lives of the regural man. But the film is a must watch for the  watching Abir Chatterjee and Jeet sharing a same space.
